Members create garments or fabric projects, learning pattern reading, machine operation, garment construction, and textile knowledge.

 This project has a 3-4 hour meeting once a month, allowing a full sewing project to be completed each meeting. 

There will be costs beyond the project fee. Members will need to shop for their materials and notions as well as provide their own sewing machine. Materials do not need to be expensive; upcycling and thrifting is encouraged. 

The Achievement Day for this project is at the Achievement Day auction when member displays their creations, answers judges’ questions and has a set of sewn items judged. 

Sewing members can place items in the sale auction sale provided the club votes to allow multi project items in the sale.
