Green Certificate

This year we have 5 members participating in the Green Certificate Program – Sheep Production. The Green Certificate Program is an industry driven training program with an apprenticeship style for students to learn agricultural skills. In the sheep project, the Green Certificate Program allows senior members to learn in depth information about the management practices necessary to run a sheep operation. Through a combination of hands-on learning and group learning sessions, members gain valuable knowledge about sheep reproduction, growth and weaning, market readiness, animal disease, animal welfare and farm safety. Also by completing this program, they will be awarded 16 high school credits. Thank you
