Horticulture

Five years ago we started the horticulture group as a spin off from the main club.  We have enjoyed trips to see Muttart Gardens in Edmonton, and to various greenhouses and gardens locally.  We have learned about soil food webs, composting, season extension, and each member has their own 4x4 raised beds which we go visit in late August as our Achievement Day.  We also raise and sell tomatoes to the club as a fund raiser for our group.  We have 8 members who love to grow!
