Poultry

Participants hatch, raise and care for chickens or other birds, learning about feeding, housing, breed characteristics, egg production, and meat quality. Members must source/pay for the livestock themselves.

The Achievement Day for this takes place at Achievement Day when members display their project progress on a posterboard and the judge interviews them. 

Members can place birds in the club Achievement Day auction sale provided the club votes to allow multi project items in the sale.
